Petroperu’s New Talara Refinery in Piura is the largest modernization project in Peru’s oil industry: a 95,000 BPD refinery that produces clean fuels.
Within Consorcio ODI (ICG, Dominion and Oil Projects USA), ICG led the technical execution of contract No. 4100009406, “Operational technical assistance service for the implementation of the operational management system of the New Talara Refinery”.
Our team of leaders, process and utilities specialists, operators and panel operators supported the client across 16 plants and developed more than 1,200 technical procedures for safe and efficient operation.
Talara Refinery
The New Talara Refinery added new units to a refinery that kept operating during its modernization. ICG brought its Reficar pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience to prepare the operation of 16 plants.
